DarwinAI has developed AI technology for inspecting components during the manufacturing process, and it is also committed to creating smaller and more efficient AI systems.

Dozens of former DarwinAI employees have now joined Apple's artificial intelligence department. Alexander Wong, an AI researcher who helped build DarwinAI, is now a director in Apple's AI department.

In order to catch up with companies like Microsoft and Google in the AI market, Apple is working hard to develop AI features for its next-generation iOS 18 and macOS 15 operating systems.
